European Comission awards JEMA with a contract to manufacture 4 power supplies for the EFDA-JET experimental fusion reactor (November 7, 2005)
Last August JEMA has been awarded by the European Comission with a contract to manufacture 4 power supplies for the EFDA-JET experimental fusion reactor, at Culham (UK). Each power supply has an output of 20 MW. The total project is estimated to last for 3 years.
Each pwr. supply generates high accuracy pulses of 17 MW, 130 KVDC – 130 A, maximum overshoot
