A new power supply for the JET European fusion reactor, at Oxford (March 15, 2007) |
Besides the contract under way to supply 4 systems of 17 Mw for this same laboratory, awarded in 2005, JEMA has win another european tender for the design and construction of 4 series connectable power systems of ±5 kA, ±15 kV output. These power supplies works under extreme accurately and safety conditions, and they are used to feed a sophisticated magnet that assures the plasma positionning inside the JET fusion reactor. |
