In this area JEMA includes all its activities for the design, construction and service of power electronics custom-made systems, used to assure a quality and fault free supply to critical installations that have to keep their continuous operation 24 hours a day: DCS, control rooms and critical equipment at power plants (combined cycle, cogeneration, thermal, diesel, nuclear, hydraulic, solar, waste-to-energy, etc.), gasification and regasification plants, refineries, communication centres, etc.

This kind of installations usually requires non-commercial customised configurations, so . JEMA's contribution comprises the integral solution and each components customised design, its manufacture and consignment, assistance to customer during commissioning, start-up and maintenance.

A typical supply includes a set of rectifiers, converters, transformers, distribution cabinets, UPS’s, etc.; in different ratings (usually >10 kVA), mounted and configured to offer the customer requested performance. These could be summarised in: voltage, power and frequency; control, programming, signalling, communications and monitoring; back-up time, protections, certain parts’ trademarks, diverse regulations, etc.

It is important to emphasize that JEMA has a long experience and relationship with numerous engineering companies and final customers in this field, in different countries.
