JEMA’s reliability in the design and installation of drive systems for industry is a fact, proven by over 2000 installations, both in national and international markets, and taking into account that this was one of it’s company's starting activities, 50 years ago.

In this field JEMA comprises all its applications of regulation and control of industrial large machines and systems, as cement furnaces, cutting lines, cold and hot rolling mills, calendars, pickling lines, wiredrawers, steel and paper reelers, static excitations, paper mills, etc. Our main sectors are steel, paper, cement, plastics and rubber industries.

At the time it was quite hard for the equipment available in the market to comply with each customer’s requests. JEMA developed a range of speed drives that were applied successfully in many installations and machines.

Afterwards, thanks to its wide knowledge of the processes (engineering) in this type of installations, JEMA stopped the manufacture of speed drives units and specialised in design, integration, customization, installation and maintenance of systems build built from commercial available equipment.

Accordingly, JEMA’s philosophy in this field is to provide the whole system with the customers requested performance and meeting their specifications. That's why JEMA proposes, for each case, the most adequate equipment and field buses to be used: Industrial Ethernet, Profibus, Device Net, among others. And, also, the system start up and servicing is always carried out by our high qualified engineers.

Our way towards service excellence and top personnel qualification allows JEMA, trouble free, to meet the requirements to use certain trademarks and models of subsystems or components, the customer shows its preference for.
