INTRODUCTION
JEMA is a company geared towards customer service; we are an "Engineering Firm with Manufacturing Capacity".
We assess our customers on the ideal solution in their case, explaining the reasons for our proposal in detail. In this way, our contact has the sufficient knowledge to be able to decide and move forward with their project, in an iterative process that might lead to the supply of the system as has been defined.
JEMA has its own technology and over 50 years’ experience in developing customised and innovative products, for the most exacting customers and sectors.
For this reason, JEMA is able to design and manufacture any kind of static power electronics system, generally over 10 kVA and up to multi-megawatt, for industrial and technological applications: rectifiers, inverters, UPS, power converters, 50-60-400 Hz frequency converters, active harmonic filters, voltage stabilisers, high voltage sources, high current sources, crowbars, SVC-HVB-STATCOM, etc.
JEMA is proficient in all the various technologies that may be applied to these systems, allowing it to offer the greatest level of versatility: solutions based on diodes, thryristors or IGBTs; 6, 12, 24 pulses; 2 or 4 quadrants; multi-level converters; Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) or Soft-switching; standard microprocessor or DSP (real time); PWM or SVM control algorithms; high accuracy, even at ppm level; HMI with discreet signalling or integrated in graphic SCADA; all kinds of format of communication buses (RS485, CAN, Ethernet, Modbus, Internet, etc.); redundant configuration, master-slave, etc.; cooling by natural or forced air, or by high or low pressure demineralised water; chassis or cabinet mounted equipment, or integrated into containers; etc.
Our digital control and communication systems are JEMA’s own design, which enables us to offer the greatest level of adaptation of hardware and software, to the needs of each project: technical standards, redundancies, signalling, manoeuvres, protections, anti-seismic mounting, tropicalization, special programming, etc.
Therefore, for each application JEMA is able to analyse which technological solutions can possibly be applied, and propose the one that best suits the customer’s technical, economic and deadline parameters.
So as to best tailor our attentions to the special characteristics of each sector, we structure our activities into three Business Areas. In addition we have created the JEMA SOLAR trademark, under which we bring together all the activities and services in the world of photovoltaic installations, chiefly grid-connected power plants:
